Netflix Appoints Epic Games' Alain Tascan as President of Games (Exclusive)

Epic Games' Alain Tascan will take over as head of Netflix's fast-growing games division.

Most recently, he served as executive vice president of games development at Epic Games, overseeing the development of first-party games such as "Fortnite," "LEGO Fortnite," "Rocket League" and "Fall Guys." In his new role, Tascan will report to Netflix co-CEO Greg Peters.

Tascan's appointment as president of games at Netflix comes one month after Facebook and EA veteran Mike Verdu, who was Netflix's vice president of games, announced he was shifting to a new role focused on "transformative innovation in game creation and development."
