Daisy Johnson

Daisy Johnson is the author of Fen, Everything Down and Sisters. In 2018, she became the youngest ever Booker Prize finalist. Her collection of short stories, Fen, won the Edge Hill Award. Sisters has been adapted into a feature film, the debut of writer-director Ariane Labed, produced by Element Pictures and BBC Films. Daisy also created and wrote Robin/Red/Breast for the Manchester International Festival. Her next novel, The Hotel, will air on Radio 4 and be published by Jonathan Cape in October 2024. Viola's Room is a linear, sound-based journey exploring a sensory world guided by light and sound.

The narrator in Viola's Room is Helena Bonham Carter. This experience does not feature live music, instead an invisible, recorded narrator (Helena Bonham Carter) speaks directly to you through headphones.

The performance lasts just under an hour.

Each booking slot is 15 minutes long and groups of up to 6 people can enter Viola Room within this slot. Please arrive 15 minutes before your booking time for a pre-experience briefing and check-in.

Due to darkness and limited space, Viola Room is not recommended for pregnant women.
