Named to commemorate May 17, 1875, when the first Derby was held in Kentucky, French Lick Springs Hotel's signature restaurant is adjacent to the main lobby. Enjoy the elegant atmosphere of the open kitchen overlooking the picturesque gardens and the iconic Pluto Spring overlook. 1875: The Steakhouse serves 100% corn-fed Angus beef from the Midwest, aged to perfection for a tender, flavorful, and high-quality meal.

This is a hotspot for drinks, good food and good times. Centered around the large electronic sign that once powered the French Lick Springs Hotel, this family-friendly restaurant serves delicious appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches and a kids menu. Located on the lower level near the Grand Colonnade Restaurant.

Spring No. 8Closed this season

Popular for its selection of sandwiches, salads, nachos, hot dogs and personal pizzas. Spring No. 8's casual atmosphere is also perfect for sipping classic and tropical cocktails and your favorite beer and wine. Dine indoors or at one of the outdoor tables on the shaded pool patio.

Grand Colonnade RestaurantLocation

Start your day with Grand Colonnade's famous breakfast buffet, including fresh waffles, omelets, made-to-order eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, pastries and snacks.

The all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet is $21 for adults, half price for children ages 6-12, and free for those under 5.

Located in Pluto Alley on the lower level of the hotel, Pluto Pizzeria serves a variety of homemade calzones, stromboli, and pizzas by the slice or whole. At the end of the hotel, Pluto's Bar serves hot or cold Pluto Water, drawn directly from the spring. Hotel guests are encouraged to drink the water, which is lauded for its endless health benefits.

The restaurant and adjacent Ballard's Bar are named for Ed Ballard, who owned the West Baden Springs Hotel during its heyday in the 1920s and early 1930s.

Enjoy the clubhouse dining while watching the Panoramic View of French Rick's magnificent Donald Ross course. Hagains has a variety of menus, including steaks, seafood, salad, hamburgers, and of course Hagains Barbecue side menus. The restaurant name was named after the legendary golfers, Walter Hegen, who won the US professional golf championship in 1924.

The Mansion of the Pete Die CourseLocation: Pete Die Course At French Lick

Enjoy a quiet lunch while watching one of the best views in Indiana. Enjoy the sandwiches and cocktails while watching the legendary designer, Pete Die, on the South Indiana hill. The Club House is a mansion built by the former owner of the French Rick Springs Hotel, Thomas Tagart, for his son Thomas D. Tagart and his family. Seats are limited.

Only golfers with Pete Die course tea time are available.
